The AAACommnons is designed to support collaboration within and between communities. With its extremely flexible tools for creating group spaces, developing ideas, and encouraging interaction, it is an ideal tool to support collaboration between Regions to develop best practices and to share ideas to enhance the value of Region meetings. It can also be used to extend the life of the meetings, providing attendees with pre-meeting opportunities to network, and the ability to use the AAACommons post meetings to refer back to key experiences.
The next phase of development is occurring this fall and winter. Region leaders and members will be the architects of their new Region spaces. On an ongoing basis, Regions will be able to assess their members’ engagement and potentially use these insights to further enhance their meetings and related activities.
