    Hi, Peggy,

    All members have access to the three Association-wide journals (Issues in Accounting Education, Horizons and The Accounting Review) as part of their membership.  You just go to and log in there.  If you have any problems logging in, please call our main line, (941) 921-7747, and they'll be able to help you further.

    "Every Apple-Made App On Your iPhone Can Be Replaced By A Better App," by Steve Kovach, Business Insider, December  14, 2012 ---

    With yesterday's launch of Google Maps for iOS, I reached the point where I no longer use any of Apple's built-in apps on my iPhone.

    Well, there are three very basic exceptions: Clock, Messages* (the texting app), and Phone. Other than that, every app I use on my iPhone was made by a third-party developer who pulled off something better than Apple's default app for the same task.

    And now, all of the Apple-made apps are now in a folder labeled with an Emoji of a smiling pile of poop.

    I really apologize for the delay in responding to this post but none of the AAA staff saw it until today. We have subscribed now, so future problems posted here will be seen immediately. I have forwaded the problem to the technical support people at our hosting site and will get back to you with an answer as soon as we have isolated or corrected the problem.

    To sign up for alerts, you go to the Digital Library ( and log in.  Then click on your name in the upper right-hand corner, and then click the "Alerts" tab.  From there, you just click all of the journals you want to keep up with, and you're all set!  And we have a video to show you how to do it.  You could go from the list on this page, or just click here:

    A few people have needed to refresh their browser to see the new site (usually you click a button near the area you enter the URL to refresh... in my browser it looks like a circle with an arrow).  

    This happens when your browser stores a version of the web site locally, saving you time when you go back to it in the future - what you're seeing is the stored version, but when you refresh, your browser will go back to the interent, it will be directed to the new platform, and you'll see the new version.

    This seems to take care of it - but let me know if you're still having problems.

    The Digital Library uses your email address as your user ID, and the password that you created for the Digital Library.  

    If you forgot your password, just go to the Digital Library and click the Log In link (top right). Then click on the Forgotten your password? link.  We'll send you a link to reset your password.  NOTE:  This will change your Digital Library password, but won't change your AAA password.

    We are working toward synchronizing all of your log in credentials through a technology called "single sign on," but even though our new Digital Library platform provider has great capabilities for getting access to our journals, it wasn't able to implement that before next spring.  Sorry for the inconvenience in the mean time - but we're working on it :)
